Thanks for visiting the Make It To Midnight web site, I really appreciate you being here.
My name is J.P. Hovey and in 2021 I was living in South Florida, spending most of my time knocking on doors and being told no while trying to get my videography business off the ground.
I was in a new city, didn’t have many friends, and I was running out of money. One day I called my dad while walking on the beach — and that’s when this brand was born.
He said, “I know it’s hard, I know it seems like nothing is working, but you just have to make it to midnight every day. If you make it to midnight, there will always be a chance for the one break you need.”
That became my reminder — and now, it’s yours too.
The phrase stuck in my head the moment he said it and in 2024 I launched the Make It To Midnight brand in hopes of being a bright light to people fighting whatever darkness they may be facing. You can make a difference in this world no matter what others have tried to tell you.
Stay optimistic and keep making it to midnight. We need you.
